Welcome to
Quiet Time Therapy

As the Founder of Quiet Time Therapy, I created this space for people who need more than quick fixes. I know that healing isn’t linear, and it isn’t always clinical — it’s layered, relational, and deeply human.

With my background as a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and a mental health nurse specialising in trauma and emotional complexity, I blend structure with softness — offering therapy that holds your whole story, not just your symptoms.

Quiet Time Therapy was born out of a calling: to make therapy feel like a sanctuary, especially for those who’ve never felt fully seen. Here, we slow down. We build trust. We go deeper. We work with the parts of you that have been carrying too much, for too long.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, identity struggles, burnout, or the invisible weight of trauma — this is a place where you can take the mask off and be met with compassion and clarity.

Though our home is in Birmingham, we work with clients across the UK through secure online sessions. If you’re ready to begin a journey that honours your pace and your story, we’re here to walk it with you.

What do we specialise in?

At Quiet Time Therapy, we go deeper than symptom management. We’re not here to offer quick fixes. We’re here to sit with you — patiently, bravely, and compassionately — as you uncover the patterns, wounds, and beliefs that have shaped how you experience life. Our approach is rooted in the belief that real healing takes time. That’s why we offer long-term, depth-oriented therapy tailored to the emotional realities of modern life. Unlike services focused on short-term solutions, Quiet Time Therapy is designed for clients ready to explore what’s beneath the surface — anxiety that won’t go away, burnout that keeps returning, inner critics that won’t stay quiet, trauma that never got named. We specialise in long-term integration, not temporary relief.

Why Long-Term Therapy?

Short-term therapy can offer tools. But long-term therapy offers transformation.

At Quiet Time Therapy, we know that emotional patterns are often rooted in experiences that took years to form — and they need space to be understood, untangled, and rewritten with care. Long-term therapy allows us to:

  • Go beyond “coping skills” to the underlying beliefs and emotional injuries that keep you stuck.

  • Build deep emotional safety and trust, the foundation of lasting change.

  • Work with your inner systems (protectors, critics, younger selves) over time — not rush through them.

  • Support identity shifts, not just symptom reduction.

  • Honour the reality that healing is non-linear and deserves room to breathe.

This is especially crucial for clients managing chronic anxiety, trauma, perfectionism, identity struggles, or relational wounds that can’t be addressed in 6 or 8 sessions.

Our Specialism

We specialise in therapy for millennials and Gen Z navigating:

  • Persistent anxiety and overthinking

  • Emotional burnout and productivity pressure

  • Trauma and unresolved childhood wounds

  • Low self-worth and chronic self-criticism

  • Identity confusion and relational mistrust

  • Life transitions, grief, and emotional overwhelm

We create a space where you can slow down, unmask, and be met with depth — not dismissed.

Our Approach

We blend evidence-based practice with a deeply human lens. While we are grounded in CBT, our work is integrative and trauma-informed — drawing from:

  • Schema Therapy

  • Compassion-Focused Therapy

  • Parts Work (IFS-informed)

  • Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)

  • Long-term relational frameworks

Every client is different, and our therapy reflects that. We meet you where you are — and stay with you long enough to help you become who you’re becoming.

Come as you are, stay as long as you need.

If you’re looking for a space where you can take off the mask, unpack what’s been heavy, and work through it — not just around it — Quiet Time Therapy is here for you.
